XWin and 100% CPU usage

I have Xfree86 running on my w2k box.  The CPU usage is at 100% for
XWin.exe, whether or not it has control of the display.

Before I drag down all the sources and start debugging this:
1)	Does everyone see this or is it particular to my system?
2)	Is it supposed to behave this way?
