RE: Cannot start X server



I have absoultely NO IDEA what you did and what you INSTALLED.
The startx.bat and startdx.bat are not in XFree86 package.  They
are in "contrib" directory.  The X11.dll should never be copied to
Windows\system.  Beside there is no X11.dll for XF86.  It is libX11.dll.
The X11.dll is part of X suite for MSVC and should not be mixed 
with Cygwin, you can mix but won't do any good for Cygwin applications
because they do not know what is it.
