Actually Windows ME does not know to handle Cygwin/XFree. ME = Millenium
Erroded Junk ;-)
ME cannot handle a lot of requests, like Windows NT does. The present server
runs only on Nt 4.0 and Windows 2000. Someday soon, another version from
Harold might be
available which would work on ME.
On the side line, on one of the PC, with 512 MB RM ME was unable to handle
3D graphics applications and always crashed with memory errors. Finally, I
had enough and ME with YOU; that Redhat Linux.

All --
I'm trying to run xfree + twm with standard startwin.bat script that
comes with base install on a Toshiba 335CDS laptop (96mb of ram).
WindowsME. ME doesn't like /B flag on start ?
To confuse matters even more --
XWin starts, but nothing else works including "alt" key
bindings,I cann't switch to (alt+tab) win or exit XWin?
I would appriciateif someone would provide me a revised startwin.bat
script.
Thanks for your time,
David J
