RE: dde on HPUX using xfree86 on cygwin error

Is there way for you to debug and get more information which request failed?
>From the error I assume, it is font error.  Which fonts dde use on HPUX?
Have you also tried Harold latest Xwin.exe from Test4?

It is difficult for me to troubleshoot why your tcp/ip network connection is
slow.
If you are using heavy OpenGL graphics software, and your server is remote
then you
would have a slow display with most of the X-server.  That is because your
X is constantly sending back and forth the big packets.  
The XWin.exe has SGI GLX extension statically linked.  It could not use
dynamic loading of modules therefore all the most common 19 extensions
were are statically linked.
