hello,
this seems to be a simple question, but i cant figure it
out. i just d/l the binaries for xfree86 win32 and placed them into
the c:\xwin32 folder.
my xterm/twm are in c:\win32\usr\bin\ ... both directories
are in the path.
when i try to do startxwin.bat, which looks like so:
C:\XWIN32\bin>cat startxwin.bat
@echo off
SET DISPLAY=127.0.0.1:0.0
SET PATH=%PATH%;\XWIN32\bin
start XWin -whitepixel 255 -blackpixel 0
start xhost +127.0.0.1
start xterm -sl 1000 -sb -rightbar -ms red -fg yellow -bg
black
start twm
(notice the start xhost + .. line) all i get is a blank
green screen with an x-looking cursor. the console has the
following messages:

does anyone know what the problem is?
