RE: XDMCP

192.168.1.10 put that in your hosts file. If you are on NT/200 in your
winnt\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file add your hosts IP address and its name
then try without from command -from is needed fro xdmcp if client cannot
figure out your localhost ip address.

Hi Alex,

after you have written me your informations and I got the new Test
version 7
(thanks Harold) and a hint (thanks Suhaib) that the XFree is identical
to
the orginal XFree I read some HowTos and tested some options now I can
use
the X!
It´s really a great work, and I can used it in a window!

Okay I don´t know why I have to set the additional option -from but now
it
works. My command looks now:
XWin -screen 0 1024x768x16 -whitepixel 255 -blackpixel 0 -engine 1 -from
192.168.1.10 -query 192.168.1.1
There 192.168.1.10 is my cygwin/xfree and 192.168.1.1 is my linuxbox.
Maybe someone have any idea why I have to set the option -from.

regards,
Darko
