What resolution are you running Windows at?
Please send in the command line output from running your batch file.
Do this by launching a command prompt and running startxwin.bat from there,
rather than double-clicking the file from Windows Explorer.

I try to run XWin on windows2000 .
I have all the latest of xfree86 and cygwin
my startxwin.bat is:
@echo off
SET DISPLAY=127.0.0.1:0.0
SET PATH=%PATH%;\usr\X11R6\bin;\cygwin\bin;\cygwin\usr\bin
start /B Xwin -screen 0 800x600x16 -whitepixel 255 -blackpixel 0
start /B xterm -sl 1000 -sb -rightbar -ms red -fg yellow -bg black -e bash
start /B rxvt -fn "Lucidia Console-12"
start /B fvwm2
@echo on
With this command the server crashes.
with "-fullscreen" instead of "-screen 0 800x600x16 " the server works but
not in a window.
Could you suggest me something to do ?
