Alt-Tab to oblivion

I just installed XFree86 on my Windows 2000 machine and it appears to work
pretty well. However, when I alt-tab back to Windows, I can't seem to get
back to the X session. There's nothing in the taskbar or the Alt-Tab menu.
There is an XWin.exe process in the Task Manager's "processes" window, but
that's it.
Am I missing something painfully obvious?
