Couple things to try:
1) Have you tried a -engine 1 parameter right before your -screen...
parameter?
2) Add a /B to the start XWin line, just like the other start lines for NT.
Send in the output from XWin... there will be lots of status messages, etc.
3) Try removing the -blackpixel -whitepixel parameters
4) Try starting with a smaller resolution than your desktop resolution, like
640x480x16
