I have one Network card, and a Modem with 2 dial-up connections .. I tried
removing teh Dil-up connections (I have DSL now) and I disabled the modem
that still did not work .. when I showed all the Hidden devices in
Devicemanager (View -> show hidden devices) there were alot of Network
adapters:
Direct Paralell
Realtek RTL8139(A) PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter
WAN Miniport (IP)
WAN Miniport (IPX)
WAN Miniport (L2TP)
WAN Miniport (PPTP)
I am going to mess around with these devices (hopefully avoiding a blue
screen hehe, and yes I do know I am asking for trouble) and see if something
does turn up ..

Please report on whether you have either of the following:
1) Multiple network cards.
2) Dial up adapter (modems) and a network card.
3) Multiple dial up adapters (modems).
Please report even if you have none of the above, as we need to know the
full picture.
Thanks for testing,
Harold
