That is because win32-x11 does not use UNIX domain socket, but use
WINSOCK32.
I will work on getting ride of UNIX domain socket from Cygwin/XFree.
Initially
I have Cygwin/XFree86 only with Winsock32 support then Cygwin started
supporting
UNIX domain socket so I activated it.
Win32-X11 is fast too, but it slows down if you use twm and xterm from
cygwin/xfree
I do not know why? I am investigating.
