It does over here on Xp Beta 2 Personal and Professional, with April 14th
Cygwin snapshot and latest Cygwin Xfree86 binaries.
Post you exact errors.
Xp is nothing but Windows2000, with new add-ins and a new desktop to fool
the world. Check kernel of XP and you will know it is Windows2000.
