As I recall there is a limit of 31 connections,
some of which are overhead. 26 actual connection
seems to be in the expected ballpark. I don't see
why this couldn't be increased (change a #define).

Subject: Connection rejected
Hi,
after having 26 Connections from one linux machine to xwin open,
I can't connect any other xclient. Xlib generates the following error
roughly translated:
XIO: fatal IO error 104 (Connection reset by remote host) on X server
"strauss:0.0"
after 0 requests (0 known processed) with 0 events remaining.
from another host I get the error
Xlib: connection to "strauss:0.0" refused by server
Xlib: Maximum number of clients reached
Error: Can't open display: strauss:0.0
Is there some limit hardcoded?
Im using Test21 on WinNT 4
bye
