Karl,
That would probably be a question for the XFree86 project, as Cygwin/XFree86
is only able to add parameters for it's small portion of the XFree86
project.
You could try submitting a patch to XFree86's
xc/programs/Xserver/os/utils.c/ProcessCommandLine (). That function
processes several parameters, including -help; you could simply model your
additional parameter after -help.
