Which version of Cygwin are you using? The out of env issue was fixed in
Cygwin long time ago?
If you are still getting it with Cygwin 1.3.2, add the following to your
config.sys and reboot
shell=C:\Command.com /e:4096 /p
If you a very old version of Cygwin, you must upgrade.
/B is not supported under Windows 9x/ME. It is supported only undet NT/2000
complain to Microsoft for making DOS shells options incompatible among
different
windows platforms
