Sorry! I didn't tie this into the point about startxwin.bat and the
various programs started...
I was thinking that the programs could be started in something like
cygx_console <program and parameter>
and cygx_console will detach from the console if it is set to file mode,
or else will stay attached keeping the dos box open, allowing
flexability.
