I just finished reading the archives and tried connecting to my remove
linux box. Here is what I get
$ ssh -l username -X mypc.somewhere.edu
username@mypc.somewhere.edu's password:
/usr/X11R6/bin/xauth: not found
Last login: Fri Oct 5 14:13:43 2001 from somehost
unknown terminal "nutc"
[username@mypc username]$ which xauth
/usr/X11R6/bin/xauth
[username@mypc username]$ xterm
connect /usr/spool/sockets/X11/0: No such file or directory
X connection to mypc:10.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown)
What am I doing wrong?
