I have no idea how to solve the problem with the xwinclip, but I use
xwinclip with XDMCP since it is available. I´m running on different
machines, and a delay of 10 seconds is too short for some machines!
I´m using a sleep 15 directly after starting XWin in XDMCP. The slowest
machine a TP770X (P3-300) had no more problems after setting the delay to 15
seconds, maybe some slower machines could need a longer delay. A mechanism
would be helpfull, there the xwinclip retries to connect to the XServer
every x seconds in overall time of lets say 30 seconds. But, that seems to
be the problem with the libX11. :-(
