RE: newbie - export X(-Applications) from Linux Server


If there is a file called .Xauthority in your home directory on the Cygwin end, delete (or rename it to keep a backup). Then get completely out of and back into XWin and try again.

Displaying Remote Clients:
--------------------------
ssh -X -l username remote_hostname_or_ip_address

aradex@linuxserver:~> xclock
X11 connection rejected because of wrong authentication.
X connection to linuxserver:10.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown).

What did i do wrong again?
