The Imakefile is broken:
#if HasSymLinks

LNDIR_PROG = HostProgramTargetName(lndir)

LNDIR_PROG = ProgramTargetName(lndir)

...

#if CrossCompiling
SimpleHostProgramTarget_2(lndir)

AllTarget($(LNDIR_PROG))
SimpleProgramTarget_2($(LNDIR_PROG))
#endif
#endif
So you see, it substitutes SimpleProgramTarget_2(lndir.exe) which is wrong.
This should bo SimpleProgramTarget_2(lndir).
