Is that just a typo? You need the bash before the from. ie, -from.
> xwin -query sun_ip -fp tcp/sun_ip:7100
I've never connected to a Sun box, but have you tried all three parameters?
xwin -query sun_ip -fp tcp/sun_ip:7100 -from client_ip
It would seem likely that all three are required.
