Hi,
I have the following .Xdefaults file:
$ cat .Xdefaults
xterm*VT100.Translations: #override \n\
<Key>F11: string("anonymous") \n\
<Key>F12: string("set DISPLAY=32.32.23.23:0")
as I'm trying to figure out how to map keys to "strings". However when I
start up an xterm now I get the following error:
$ xterm
Warning: translation table syntax error: Modifier or '<' expected
'arning: ... found while parsing '
Warning: String to TranslationTable conversion encountered errors
but if I do:
$ xrdb -merge .Xdefaults
it works fine. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks,
JS.
