Hello,
I'm using cygwin/xfree86 quite successfully under the xdmcp, displaying hp-cde desktops in the server window, and
thereby running hp-unix apps remotely.
However, when I copy and paste text in the cde, it doesn't show up on the windows clipboard, even though I started xwin
with the -clipboard option.
My startup line in bash looks like this:
xwin :3 -clipboard -query alsux227 -fp tcp/buddha26:7000 &
This starts an xdmcp session with alsux227, using the font server on buddha26.
Should the clipboard option work under these circumstances?
Thanks,
James R. Phillips
