Platform: Cygwin XFree86-xserv 4.3.0-21
Cygwin XFree86-bin 4.3.0-7 (xterm is is in this package)
Win2k
Norwegian keyboard (autodetected by the X server)
When I press Alt-b to move back one word, in bash in xterm on cygwin,
instead I get the letter â.
When I press Alt-f to move forward one word, in bash in xterm on
cygwin, instead I get the letter æ.
When I press Alt-d to delete the next work, in bash in cygwin xterm,
instead I get the letter ä.
The behaviour is identical whether the bash is running natively in
cygwin on Win2k, or whether it's running over an SSH session to a RH8
or to a debian testing/unstable (sarge) machine.
