Here is what I do:
Start X then rxvt or xterm.
$ echo $DISPLAY
127.0.0.1:0.0
$ ls -al /usr/X11R6/bin/x2x*

/usr/X11R6/bin/x2x-1.27-3

[open a small window, works ok.]

Am I the only one with this problem ?
