Good afteroon list,
I have been looking around the list today and whilst I have some great
pointers on what I want to achieve I am having some problems bringing it
all together.
Aim: When I log into Windows the X server is started and
win-ssh-askpass is called asking for my ssh private key password to give
to the ssh-agent. I then want to use a shortcut to bring up xterms as
and when I want them.
Coming from a UNIX background I understand that I need to use .xsession
ot .xinit or .xinitrc, however I am not sure how I can get X to start
(without using the provided bash file or Cygwin prompt as I do not want
a bash terminal at this stage) which causes this to be read. This is
where I will put the ssh-agent start up information.
If anyone has accomplished this or has some ideas I would be eternally
grateful.
Thanks very much in advance,
Russell
