Not really, but i can confirm that behaviour.
I'm using XWin -query to get an XDMCP session, and neither a logoff nor a windows close work. I get 100% cpu load and have to kill it.
By the way, if vista changes from aero to basic XWin goes to 100% load too, and minimizes its window. Is that the same on your install too?
