Re: Cannot type in xterm

I recently upgraded Cygwin on my windows 2000 box, and am no longer able to type in an xterm. I used to start X by running 'startx' from cygwin, but I see now I need to use 'startxwin.bat' or 'startxwin.sh'. I have found the same response regardless of which way I start it, no response to keyboard input.

I am running unix services for windows on this box, and found the mention of it interfering:

So I unset those four system variables, and there was no improvement.
What do I need to change next?
