RE: Error: Can't open display: 127.0.0.1:0.0



I don't know if it helps but once the same message appeared in my xterm when I was trying to load some seismic data in cygwin. 
 
My problem was fixed easy, just changing the X11 paths on the Seismic unix software's Makefile.config. After re-installed, everything went fine.
