Re: cygwin-x xterm not compatible with windows 7?


I turned off UAC, or so I am told.

The server seems to start up OK. But xterm cannot access the shared memory? I ran this from the Cygwin.bat and got this stack dump.

I don't believe there is a workaround, unfortunately. Vista has the same issue.


Isn't this just UAC? You can turn that off for a user if you want.
