I think something else might be going on.

Note the following line from the log file

       XWin was started with the following command line:?? /usr/bin/X :0
-auth /home/Tattie/.serverauth.2764

The start command is being run from a user? ?Dvorah?,? but? the start is
trying to access a file under the user ?Tattie?.
