You should not initialize the CYGWIN variable in your .bashrc
(it's too late, cygwin is already loaded...) but in the DOS BATCH
file (eg. CYGNUS.BAT) which launch bash the first time.
The line as the DOS syntax:
SET CYGWIN = tty binmode
