Under Cygwin B20:
$ cygtclsh80
% puts [exec ls]
% exit
$ ps
The `ps' command reveals that `ls' is still running.
Worse, it's a zombie (parent process id = -1) so I
can't kill it.
When enough zombies accumulate, Cygwin won't let me do
anything more. Does anyone have a zombie killer?
Sadly, the `signal' command is TclX and hence is not
available inside `cygtclsh80'. Otherwise I would have
tried:
$ cygtclsh80
% signal trap SIGCHLD {[wait]}; # Untested
% puts [exec ls]
% exit
