Re: X11R6.4 for Cygwin Release v1.0? (And thanks)
I do not think that they are mutually incompatible. But, I also
have not tested with Cygwin 1.0 CD. However X11R6.x developed for
B20.1 will not work with Latest SnapShot because the cygwin1.dll
exports _ctype_. It will link but execution of apps reports
Cygwin1.dll failed to initialized missing _ctype_ symbol, or does access
violations. Therefore I have on my URLs the binaries marked *-ss-dev.tar.gz
for the latest cygwin snapshots.
