SRVANY.EXE and INSTSRV.EXE are tools from the NT resource kit.
Assuming your SRVANY.EXE is in D:/usr/local/bin and your
sshd is in D:/usr/local/sbin:
On the commandline call:
instsrv sshd D:\\usr\\local\\bin\\SRVANY.EXE
Output:
The service was successfully installed, blahblah...
Then call RegEdit.
You will find a Registry Key:
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\sshd
Under that key create a new Subkey named "Parameters"
Under "Parameters" create a new string (REG_SZ type) named
"Application".
Open the string "Application" and insert the value:
D:\usr\local\sbin\sshd.exe
Leave RegEdit.
Start sshd from the command line by calling:
net start sshd
Stop sshd (this is the complex part) by calling:
net stop sshd
kill -9 <sshd_pid>
Hope, that helps,
Corinna
