I have upgraded my 1.1.8 installation today and I can't mount catalogs
anymore.
My mountpoints are less than 20 which I think is the limit.
C:\cygwin-18\bin on /usr/bin type system (binmode)
C:\cygwin-18\lib on /usr/lib type system (binmode)
C:\cygwin-18 on / type system (binmode)
c:\sybase on /opt/sybase11 type user (binmode)
F: on /develop type user (binmode)
G: on /home/softies type user (binmode)
c: on /cygdrive/c type user (binmode,noumount)
e: on /cygdrive/e type user (binmode,noumount)
k: on /cygdrive/k type user (binmode,noumount)
n: on /cygdrive/n type user (binmode,noumount)
p: on /cygdrive/p type user (binmode,noumount)
q: on /cygdrive/q type user (binmode,noumount)
I try to mount a new WinNt catalog:
mount -b C:\Sybase-12 /opt/sybase12
mount: /opt/sybase12: Invalid argument
a strace file of the command is attached.
doing a ls -l on /opt
total 4
drwxr-xr-x 12 administ None 4096 May 3 13:41 sybase11
drwxr-xr-x 2 administ None 0 May 9 12:45 sybase12
drwxr-xr-x 2 administ None 0 May 9 12:50 tt
drwxr-xr-x 4 administ None 0 Apr 18 13:26 uimx
trying to change mode on file
chmod 777 /opt/sybase12 has no effect on the file permissions.
What is wrong?
