gcc configure failing


I  get  the  error  below  when  I ran
./configure  in
/usr/src/gcc-2.95.3-5
can  someone sort it  out  if you have  faced  such a problem before?

config.h is unchanged

Configure in /usr/src/gcc-2.95.3-5/gcc failed, exiting.
