Hey, I have been trying to build php4 (4.2.0-1) from source (also because libphp4.dll won't work) so i can have a cgi version for my now working apache server build. Everything has gone o.k. without errors from the build (configure/make/make install). Although at the last point of installing the package i get an error about chmod'ing a file named something like '#INSTxxxx#.exe': /usr/src/php-4.2.0-1/build/shtool install -c -m 0755 php /etc/php4cgi/bin/php chmod: changing permissions of `/etc/php4cgi/bin/#INST@694691#': No such file o directory make[1]: *** [install-sapi] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/php-4.2.0-1' make: *** [install-recursive] Error 1 What i have done is rename the hashy filename to php.exe and it works fine from the command line but that's all... I have attatched the output from `php -i' (file: test.html.gz) and the output from cygcheck (file: cygcheck.txt.gz). If anyone can help that would be great...
