problem that has plagued me since I went with Win2k. It occurs even when I
have done absolutely nothing that day involving cygwin thus confirming my
sources that it is win2k related. These folks have had the problem as well and
have never touched cygwin. I have found in my case though that I can resolve
the issue in most cases by logging off and then logging back on to Win2k and
thus save the hassle of rebooting - although logging off and back on is also a
pain - just not as bad.
