Sounds like you're not running your services as 'SYSTEM' but
rather as the user you installed as. But you're a little vague
on the details so I might be jumping to conclusions. If that's
not the problem, please provide some details and the requested
info from:

A short, simple example of something you're trying which doesn't
work for you with supporting files/data would be most helpful.
