This is unnecessary; the built-in default (/usr/lib/pkgconfig) is where
most .pc files should be (including gtk+-2.0.pc), and
/usr/X11R6/lib/pkgconfig is added to PKG_CONFIG_PATH automatically with
the xorg-x11-devel package.
