Re: Where can I get the source code for setup.exe


Whew. Ask for help (teach me to) and you get it.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'll probably try to build setup this weekend, 
unless time 'frees' instead of 'flies'. But, all of the help I've received is 
outstanding. Paranoia is out the window. 

There was a posting on how to obtain Setup-2.457.2.1.tar.bz2 which I'll hunt up. 
I think that (for me) the best way of starting is to go right to the newest 
version. My goal is to instrument Setup so that all errors are identified and 
reported (hopefully with an indicated corrective action). A tad ambitious but 
why not.
