I've found in the past that sometimes that error indicates a memory
problem of some sort. If your W2K server is indeed a server then perhaps
it's running long running service processes that have consumed most of
the memory (memory leaks). You might try rebooting it though that may be
inconvenient or you could try shutting down some non essential services
or restarting services that seem to have hogged memory.
