Are you SURE you copied all things cygwin related?  Is your mount table on
the new machine set up correctly ('man mount')?

The only use of the registry is the mount table, and you should not be
editing it directly.  Instead, use mount.

If you really want help, then follow the directions that I already
mentioned in my previous mail:

If you don't attach the text attachment output of 'cygcheck -svr' from the
system with issues, you cannot expect us to know enough about the problems
for us to be able to provide assistance.
