I don't know exactly if XML-Spy is right or not (I expect not), but we
got
actually the same situation here. Our authors are using XMetal from
Softsquad.
It works fine and helps them produce correct DocBook-Files (verification
on
th fly). Another neat point is that you can give XMetal a CSS file for
viewing the XML-Data during editin, so you get something close to
WYSIWYG;-)
