DOCBOOK-APPS: reuse DocBook docbook-xml content?

Can we (re)use the content that makes up the Docbook online reference (
http://www.docbook.org/tdg/html/ ) in our own products? If so I could get it
from the html, but would prefer to have original content. Is this a
possibility?

I want to be able to offer a docbook reference inside of my webapp (which is
primarily a wysiwig tool, docbook reference is not a must have).  I could
get content from a centralized location if that is a possibility.  I am
mostly interested in the simplified subset (but not exclusively). And I
would only be interested in the tag references.
