Re: Various styles in one document

/ Michał Rój <M.Roj@elka.pw.edu.pl> was heard to say:
| Hello men,
| I've got the following docbook problem - usually want to produce
| documents which should differ in their form in diiferent parts of
| my document (e.g. I want to get an article (<article>) which is 2-column,
| but the header and abstract should be 1-column ).
|
| Q: Is it possible to apply various stylesheets to
| speciefied parts of my sgml source?

All that you probably need to do is let your (single) stylesheet
process different parts of the document in different ways.

Unfortunately, mixing single and multicolumn text on the same page is
not possible with DSSSL. It can be done with XSL, provided you have
a rendering tool that will do the right thing.

(Setup the page model as two column, but make the title and abstract
span both columns.)

                                        Be seeing you,
                                          norm
