Re: Automatically added subject prefix

| Can I disable this feature somehow?

It's a "feature" of the list processing software. A dubious feature at
best. I suppose I could see if I can get it turned off. (It's never
bothered me enough to go digging.)

Anyone want to *keep* the feature? (Private replies, please, this is OT.)

| Or can I use my Gnus to send 'DOCBOOK-APPS' string from Subject to
| /dev/null? Any Gnus gurus around?

I'm sure you can use gnus to do it. And I'm tempted to figure out how,
just so I know. But not today.

| Please, don't kick me out of this list because of this rant :)

Nah.

| [1] I'm pretty sure that someone will answer that it's for
| filtering. But there are other headers, which can be used for
| filtering. I use List-Id.

Yeah, but it may be that some goofy mailers on, uhm, other operating
systems aren't quite so feature rich.

                                        Be seeing you,
                                          norm
