  Actually, it can understand both :-)
If passed the --catalogs option it will uses the set of SGML catalogs
listed in the environement variable SGML_CATALOG_FILES
And without option if no XML catalog are found I think it will check
/etc/sgml/catalog too (but I didn't tested this lately).
