- Subject: DOCBOOK-APPS: character encoding problem using xsltproc + dbslide
Hi!
I am making slides using xsltproc and dbslide slides-full.dtd + xsl.
These slides are in french with characters like "éàè..."
xsltproc complains:
xsltproc --nonet --catalogs slides-2.0/xsl/slides.xsl show.xml
show.xml:52: error: Input is not proper UTF-8, indicate encoding !
How do I indicate the encoding?
The alternative I use it to write é instead of é, è
instade of è and so on...
I have tried <slides lang="fr"> with no success.
Greetings.
Philippe.
